~~ About Me ~~

Experience and Education

I began learning 3D animation independently in 2021 using Source Filmmaker before enrolling at Minnesota State University Moorhead in 2023. While studying at MSUM, I was trained with a variety of industry-standard software. I began my curriculum with Blender, before moving on to Autodesk Maya; the majority of my experience is in Maya, but my skills can be applied to any other 3D animation program.

In addition to 3D animation, I was trained to use Adobe Substance 3D Painter for texturing, Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects for video editing, Clip Studio Paint for 2D animation, and Adobe Photoshop for digital image editing.

In 2026, I graduated from MSUM with a bachelor of Fine Arts degree in animation and a minor in multimedia. My resume and transcripts are available to employers upon request.

Self-portrait

Personal

I believe I've always been a creator at heart; ever since I was a kid, I've wanted to create games and experiences for other people to engage with. I would draw level designs and write comics to show my friends because I'm passionate about creating, and I enjoy having my work seen.

I used to think that I needed to seek a career in programming in order to work in a game studio, so after I graduated from high school, I started studying computer science at NDSU. I learned a lot about programming, mostly JavaScript, and I even produced my own video game mods during my free time. While I enjoyed creating little interactive programs, I disliked coding data structures and other utilities: things that people don't really engage with. I took a break from NDSU in 2021, and while I was learning SFM, I realized I was always interested in the creative aspects of game design; the technical elements were just a means to an end. That realization is what led me to pursue a career in animation.

While I initially started my journey with the goal of a career in game design, I'm also be enthusiastic to work on cartoons and animated films.
